One of the best fall traditions in Norman for youth has to be heading to Falls Creek for a weekend of fun and fellowship during Fall FallOut. This year's Fall FallOut will be October 12-14.
"With our theme being Follower: Living an Authentic Faith, I hope our youth will learn practical ways to live out their faith in their daily lives," Clint Taylor, Minister of Recreation and Youth, said. "I encourage all of our youth to attend Fall FallOut and invite a friend or two."
Fall FallOut is open to 6th-12th grades, and the cost is $50. Scholarship money may be available.
Lauren Rigney has already signed up for Fall FallOut and is looking forward to the weekend.
"I’m so excited to become closer to my church family, make some new friends and hear some great music. More importantly, I can’t wait to grow my relationship with God and become closer to Jesus through the leadership of Fall FallOut," Rigney said.
Also attending this year's Fall FallOut is Riley Beery.
"I can’t wait to go to Falls Creek when it’s calm and quiet," Beery said. "I’m looking forward to being with a group of friends and be closer to them."
There is still time to register for Fall FallOut, the deadline is October 10. To register, visit fbcnorman.org.
"I’m looking forward to growing in Christ and getting closer to my friends and having fun," Wilson Smith said.
